Photo Tips
When taking photos for a puzzle, it is best to get as close to the subject as possible and try not to use the zoom feature.

Photos need to be at least 2 megapixels in size and use the highest camera resolution, either fine or superfine. Scanned images need to be sent at 150 dpi. Before you scan a photo, please clean the surface of your scanner and photo to ensure no dust or fingerprints are present. If you do not have access to a scanner, you can mail the photo and I will scan it for you and return your photo with your puzzle. If you scan or mail a photo, please use a photo that is at lease 4"X6" or larger. The largest photo that I can scan is 8"X10". I prefer to work with photos that are saved in a JPEG format.

If the image you send is in a vertical or horizontal layout, that is the way the puzzle will be created.

I will maintain the integrity of your photos and will not distort or stretch the images for puzzles. In a few cases, a small stretch of the image has worked well and if this is the case, I will contact you. It may be necessary to crop the image and some of the photo may be lost due to re-sizing.

Photos taken off the internet are protected by copyright laws and do not make good images for puzzles due to the small file size. When placing an order, you accept responsibility that the image is yours and no copyright laws are violated. Photos taken with cell phones are usually too small and do not make good photos. However, I have used images taken with a cell phone that have made great pictures. The file size of these images were over 1 megapixel.

When I have received your completed order, which includes your instructions, image and payment, you should receive your puzzle within two weeks.

Please attach the image into your e-mail and send to puzzler@letsgetpuzzled.com.
